On 28th August, there were over 60 participants who attended the forum and total of 52 eligible voters. The finalized candidates who were nominated for an election represented 16 various institutions as stated in the formal voting papers. 2 among 16 nominated candidates were men.

In compliance with the voting procedures, the results of the election are as follows:

Dy Many, Program Officer of AAC and Mr. Seng Sary, IRD Researcher and Mrs. Jane Batte, UNAIDS and Mrs. Loung Soklay, Concern Worldwide, Cambodia as the observers/witnesses.

The minute report of the entire election process is being finalized in Khmer version and will be sent to all CACHA members.

The first meeting of Steering Committee will be scheduled to further discuss and finalize CACHA by-law in order to submit to the Ministry of Interior as soon as possible.
